About the Farm
Farmers & food lovers from Nottinghamshire
Cropwell Farm has been producing food from this patch of East Midlands countryside for generations. What started as a small market garden has grown into a proper farm shop — but the ethos hasn't changed: grow it well, look after the animals, and get the food to people who want it as fresh as possible.
We rear our own beef and lamb on the pastures around the farm, keep free-range hens for eggs, grow seasonal vegetables in the fields, and source dairy from a village dairy a few miles down the road. Everything sold in the shop either comes from us, or from someone we know personally.

How we do things
Grown in Season
We harvest what’s ready, not what’s convenient. Our veg boxes change with the seasons, which means you get the freshest produce our fields can offer.
Truly Local
Every delivery is made by us. No couriers, no third parties. We cover Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
Full Provenance
Our meat comes from animals raised on the farm. We know exactly what they ate, where they roamed, and how they were handled. No shortcuts.
Free Range
Happy hens, proper eggs
Our hens roam freely across the farm, scratching around in the grass and hedgerows as chickens are meant to. The result is eggs with deep golden yolks and proper flavour, the kind you notice when you crack one into the pan.
We collect and pack the eggs ourselves, so they go from hen house to your door with as few hands in between as possible.
